Isolated tenancy != Footgun

By Ed Newsom

How do you earn your customers' trust so they will give you access to their precious data? Implementing isolated tenancy does not need to kill your SaaS product. When you're developing a product you need to satisfy both the customers' need for data security and your aims of speed to market and stability.
This talk is about where we landed when building a SaaS product for multiple customers who really do care about their data. We will cover implementing a cloud-native, serverless, event-driven solution built on DevOps principles, that uses the right level of isolated tenant architecture to earn customers' trust while still allowing us to rapidly deliver features.

About Ed

Having decided to change career direction for the third time, Ed finally found an outfit that would allow him to do the technical stuff he wants to. At Mechanical Rock, Ed has been leading internal product development and has almost completely avoided any consultancy work. Drawing on previous experience in engineering, technical sales and product management, Ed has been relishing the opportunity to both shape and build SaaS products. Having started as a mechanical engineer he still has trouble accepting that he now specialises in serverless architecture, IAC, DevOps and data wrangling.
